La Selva is excited to share this unique encounter with a new generation of filmmakers and cinematographers. For 11 days, Werner Herzog and his director of photography, Peter Zeitlinger, will guide 25 creative duos in the process of creating their films. Herzog and the 50 participants will pay tribute with their stories to the people of the island of La Palma three years after the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano.

Hartwolf (Lucki) Stipetic has resigned due to personal reasons from his post as executive chairman of the Executive Board of the foundation.
The chairman of the board of trustees and the founder of the foundation, Werner Herzog, has appointed Lucki Stipetic as active member to the Executive Board of the foundation.
The chairman Werner Herzog has appointed Lena Herzog as executive chairwomen to the Executive Board of the foundation.
Furthermore, Werner Herzog in his capacity as chairman and founder, has appointed Miss Sungji Oh as deputy chairwomen to the Executive Board.
